Spirit & Truth weekends for your local church

Sometimes all it takes is a single moment in the presence of God to change the course of someone’s life. Sometimes at little bit of training and invitation into one new practice can reset the trajectory of a person’s life in Christ. At Spirit & Truth we long to see the church fully alive! And to see the church fully alive means that believers in your church must become fully alive in Christ and living out the fullness of life in Him. We believe God wants to fill people with the active presence of his Holy Spirit. If you long to see folks in your church go deeper in their faith, become empowered in their Christian walk, and bolder in their witness—we want to come alongside you and help you host a Spirit & Truth Weekend. You don’t need a fancy location or any gimmicks. We’ve seen God move in eternity-shaping ways when a handful of people, hungry for God, cry out for him. Our Spirit-filled teachers and worship leaders want to partner with your church in a weekend like this.

• Typical topics covered in a Spirit & Truth Weekend:

  • Building a Foundation of Prayer (Making prayer the starting place for all of life)

  • Cooperating with the Holy Spirit (Learning to hear God’s voice)

  • Everyday Evangelism (Learning to share your faith right where you live, work and play)

  • Becoming a Disciple-Maker (Mobilizing every member to participate in the Great Commission)

• All our weekends are experiential. We will pray and worship just as much as we learn. We will lead people into practical learning exercises beyond just talking about concepts. Life change happens when learning collides with the presence of the Spirit and people take new practical steps of obedience.

• Each weekend is tailored to the local context of the church inviting our team. The process begins with an inquiry from the pastor or a key church leader. We schedule a Zoom call for mutual discernment and discussion. The Spirit & Truth team will then prepare a specific proposal for the local church to consider with their leadership.

• Sometimes affordability affects accessibility so we strive to keep things as low-cost as possible so that our ministry is available for any size church. We do offer some strategies for churches to partner together and host a weekend to make the experience more affordable for any church.
