What is a Spirit & Truth Conference?
At Spirit & Truth we long to see the church fully alive! We exist to help equip a global movement of local churches to become empowered by the Spirit, rooted in the truth, and mobilized for the mission. A Spirit & Truth Conference is a gathering for believers to get equipped and seek the powerful presence of the Lord together. It’s a chance to learn from respected leaders about ways to spark a new movement of back-to-the-basics, Spirit-filled, missional Christianity.
What is the theme at this year’s Spirit & Truth conference?
We will focus in on Spirit-filled living and evangelism. How do we cooperate with the Holy Spirit everyday to become missionaries right where God has already planted us? Together we will learn what it means to be filled and sent by the Holy Spirit to be witnesses for Jesus Christ.
What is the schedule?
The conference begins at 7:00pm on Friday night. Doors will open at 6:15pm for walk-in registration. The conference runs on Saturday from 9:00am through about 4:30pm.
How much does it cost?
$59 (Note: There is limited seating, so register soon!)
If I’m coming from out of town, where should I stay?
There are lots of lodging options near the host church, First Methodist Church in Valdosta, located at 220 N Patterson St, Valdosta, GA 31601.
Here’s what some people who attended past Spirit & Truth conferences shared about their experience:
“This gathering of people is one of the few events I've attended where priority is given to a true, life-changing encounter with the power of the Holy Spirit. It's not about speakers or information. When we come hungry to glorify the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, that kind of encounter with the Living God changes us.”
“Following a season of heavy burdens and weariness as a lay leader and church staff member, Spirit & Truth Conference is where I found rest for my soul. I had been unable to pray, quiet my mind, and worship rightly for months. Holy Spirit met me at the conference and freed me to worship and receive rest and refreshment. Praise the Lord!”
“While labeled a conference, this is more an annual gathering of sons and daughters who stop from the everyday life of ministry to listen, to sing, to be, to laugh, to cry and mostly to join with others and continue the ancient battle cry, ‘Come, Holy Spirit!’”
“If you have the opportunity to go—go. And encourage others to go with you. You will experience God’s presence, love, healing and the church family in such a mighty way. Come hungry.”
“Spirit and Truth is a time to be in the presence of God with others and to see the Holy Spirit change lives!”
“Before attending I felt like a dry sponge but off the out pouring of the Holy Spirit and the praise, worship and prayer, I fell refreshed and ready to soldier on for Christ.”
