Spirit & Truth regularly partners with our friends in Cuba and Kenya to support their ongoing ministry as well as to provide emergency relief like food and clean water. In both locations the local church is thriving in spite of the significant challenges of abject poverty. For example, as the COVID-19 global pandemic began to impact the economies in both locations, people with very little resources to begin with found obtaining basic supplies of food and clean water nearly impossible. Thanks to generous donors, Spirit & Truth was able to help with this emergency need, providing thousands of meals and tens of thousands of gallons of clean water. In addition to these relief efforts, gifts towards the Cuba or Kenya Fund also provide resources to continue outreach ministries in both locations as the Gospel is preached and embodied in these communities. In one recent outreach made possible by these gifts, our partners in Nairobi distributed food to 500 people and 10 of those people gave their lives to Jesus Christ in the process! God is at work in a powerful way among these brothers and sisters in the faith! Compared to standard national mission agencies Spirit & Truth helps manage this work with very minimal administration cost, meaning that 95% of donations given to the Cuba or Kenya fund go directly to these ministry partners for their work!
